We at the
SCUM Alliance insist on creating new,
often non-sensical, terminology even though perfectly good
terms already exist that we could have reused. We do this to help you
break out of your pre-conceived notions: OK, we really do it because we think
these terms sound cool and it bolsters our argument that you need to take the
SCAM
training course.
- Certified SCAM Artist. A
SCUM Alliance
certified instructor of the
SCAM training course.
- DOGMA. What we teach. Short for Definitive Organizational
General Mastery of Agile.
- Dash. An iteration/timebox in Huddle.
- DUPE. That would be you. Short for Developer Und
Programming
Engineer.
- Empirical. Any process leading to a consulting empire for
us.
- Huddle. An agile process framework that we teach you in the
SCAM training course.
Huddle takes its name from American football, a game that none of the Huddle
creator have actually played in practice so our application of the
relatively inane terminology is even more inane when considered from the
point of view of someone with actual experience.
- Process framework. Thinly disguised consultant ware.
- SCAM. SCUM CertifiedTM
Agile Master.
- SCAMmer. Someone claiming to be a certified master as the result of
taking a two-day certification course which nobody fails.
- SCUM. That would be
us. Short for
Scott's Certification Und
Mentoring.
- SCUM tithe. The monthly payment made by Certified SCAM artists to the
SCUM Alliance,
$100 per DUPE trained that month.
