As you can see, I have posted a significant amount of intellectual property (IP) on the web and made it freely available for use at www.ambysoft.com, www.agilemodeling.com, www.agiledata.org, and www.enterpriseunifiedprocess.com.  On average I get close to 2 million hits a month, in total, across my sites so I suspect that organizations are benefiting from work, which is exactly what I hoped for.  Although I prefer to make money through actual consulting and training services the fact is that there's only one of me to go around.  I've noticed on other sites that they've set up tip jars such as this, and it seemed like a pretty good idea.  Many people tip waiters for bringing them a meal, so why shouldn't we also be tipping methodologists for providing us with useful information?
